PSDD: Pragmatic Spec Driven Development
I am demoing PSDD at LeadDev Berlin. It is how we take a feature from idea to merged, verified production code in a regulated fintech: four AI stages (requirements, technical design, ticket breakdown, and implementation with review and verification), each paired with one human.
Each stage refuses work that isn’t its own.
Every stage refuses to start without the previous stage’s artifact and refuses to do the next stage’s work, so the AI never quietly invents decisions nobody made. A fresh agent acts as the gate between stages. The session that wrote the code never reviews or verifies it, and every ticket carries a runnable verification command that was actually executed. Live, I will show the gates refusing out-of-order work and a readiness check on a design doc. A pre-recorded run covers the implementation stage: parallel adversarial reviewers, a fresh verifier and one human approval. The format is What’s Your Workflow: a 10-minute live demo, one of three in a 45-minute session followed by 15 minutes of audience Q&A, on the Solutions Stage in the sponsor hall.
